Paradip Port Authority today hosted an Awareness-cum-Workshop on the Four Labour Codes at its New Board Room.

The workshop was chaired by Shri P.L. Haranadh, IRTS, Chairman, Paradip Port Authority, with Shri Chiranjeev Saikia, Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, as the Chief Guest.

 Workers are the backbone of every country. They contribute to the development of industries, agriculture, construction, transportation and many other sectors. Despite their important role in society, many workers face hardships such as low wages, unsafe working conditions, lack of health care, job insecurity and exploitation. To deal with these challenges, various initiatives and campaigns have been launched to protect the rights of workers and improve their quality of life. One such effort is Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan, which means "Save Laborers Campaign." This campaign focuses on protecting the rights, dignity and welfare of workers and ensuring that they get fair treatment in the society.
