KMT's Proposal to Boost Salaries
The KMT (The Chinese Nationalist Party) Caucus on Wednesday last week said it would place amendments to four labor-related laws, The Company Act, The Labor Standard Act, The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, Β and The Factory Act, on top of its legislative agenda to secure better salaries and bonuses for workers. Companies that fail to comply may be fined up to US$159,000.Β
