I will say I hope I didn't lose my earbuds bc during TSA check I couldn't find them in my purse but I have a big purse and I didn't look that thoroughly
we packed a lot in between Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Malibu! Driving down the PCH listening to Golden and Canyon Moon, dipping my feet in the Pacific Ocean, hiking to the hollywood sign…all major bucket list moments. Now we’re relaxing in Palm Springs before seeing Harry for his birthday shows 😌

I didn’t get any pictures with Horitomo-san, but I did get to meet him. After he signed my book, I told him 「かわいいシャツですね！」which translates to “I’m an awkward ball of shit and should feel bad”
Actually it just means his shirt was cute. It had kitties on it. He was really nice! It was my first time speaking Japanese face to face with a native speaker, and I was so nervous that I was accidentally very rude to Sato-san immediately afterward.
Anyway, getting to see his tattoo designs up close gave me new insight into their details and form. I learned a lot about Majima just from staring at these displays. The trip was worth it for this alone!
