Reflecting on the MaStar Journey
Since the beginning, I’ve always been multishipping trash, but I was never able to find my circle in the SE fandom since a majority of the members seemed to have a one-ship mind. After a very long and full year of writing fanfiction for the first time, I branched out to ships like MaStar, whom I’ve shipped for a very long time, but never had a chance to really dive into. I kept seeing other friends tell me that they wished they saw more rarepair content and I said to myself: you know what? Why the hell not. What started out as a creative outlet and an exploration into new dynamics became a wonderful adventure that I’m still embarking on.
At this point, I’ve spent more time writing and thinking of MaStar than any other ship. I still remember my first AU that I plotted on accident which hilariously began as a BrOTP, and that eventually evolved into an entire spreadsheet of over 150 universes. The new friends and relationships that I’ve made by just existing within the MaStar sphere have made me so happy; the support and love from my dear friends have also been so heartwarming. I don’t know how else to wrap this up than to give the cliché “I’m excited for more,” but honestly it really does apply here. Thank you for the journey, cheers to more stories!
