Primed and paited side covers. New tires. Took the bike into a friend who helped sort out a vacuum leak and synced the carbs so it's running smooth. Just a few finishing touches left before I consider it done.
Replacing the old missed matched cables for new missed matched cables. Turns out I didn't need a wire kit after all, just needed the wires.
Took a month and a half but the seat is done! Well done for now. Here is post 1/2

New parts came in and they got the copper treatment! Getting close on this build.
Paint day (weeks really). Two passed of clear coat on the frame and first pass of metallic copper on the tank. One more pass at the tank then a clear coat and we will call her good.
All rust removed and defused! Primed and ready to paint. I'm liking the grey so much I may just clear coat it and call it a day.
