Taking the hints from Kimetsu Gauke: Hakuji is a high school senior in Eboshi class, which is apparently named after a hat worn by the nobles, judges and samurais. A sign of he is perceived as a role model after his sincere redemption from his embarrassing phase in middle school adjaks.

Interesting, is this too a sign for a respectful life for Hakuji’s next life in the canonical timeline? Uhmmmmmmmmmmm

Also the pet names got me off guard, Kyouki calls him: “Lord Hakuji” and he calls her : “Princess”. Where Lord in this context is a better sounding alternative to “ prince/king” ig, it’s so cute. Their pet play is loud enough to be included in their gauken profile.

Not to mention they are well known among their peers, and Hakuji specifically has a good reputation among his juniors, to the point his Akaza phase is buried 67 feet deep and never brought up by anyone, his teachers nonetheless.
