“FBI,open the door!”“No. It’s cooler when you break in.” 

Tom rolled his eyes at Hermione who was standing across from him. Honestly, criminals these days, and this one, this one bothered him more than any of the others ever did.

His partner tutted, irritated, and took a step back before she kicked the door down and swept into the room.

Harry, the hacker who they’d brought in more times than they could count, hadn’t even looked up from the game he was playing, shouting obscenities down his headset, and from the looks of things, simultaneously hacking into the pentagon’s defence system, again.

“You could just call when you need a consult you know?” he said finally pausing the game and removing his headset.

Hermione hummed and moved further into the room, leaving Tom to close the door before he joined her, his arm seamlessly slipping round her waist when he did.

“We did” he said, glaring at their friend, “but your phone’s been disconnected.”

“She’scrying, what do I do?” “Go comfort her.” “How do I do that?” “Start with hugs.”“With what?”

“Tom” Hermione sighed, rolling over in their bed to look at him, and pulling the duvet up closer to her chin when his eyes drifted down to her exposed nipples - she ignored the ache between her legs as she fixed him with her sternest glare, “you said you would get up with her.”

Tom’s head snapped up from his wifes now covered chest to meet her eye and nodded, “I did. But i didn’t expect her to be crying. She never normally cries.”

“Just bring her into bed with us” Hermione sighed,  falling back onto the pillow and throwing an arm over her face in defeat.

“Yes” she glared at him, “the school your son goes to.”
