i needed a minute to get what loafing means, but what an absolutely cute visual!

had a go at designing Kymani, Hed's favorite uncle who is a reggae troll.

and in regards to Hed growing up in Vibe City... since he got there so young, everything regarding funk trolls and funk customs became the norm to him. Till they started traveling around as a band, he knew very little about rock trolls aside from what he felt instinctively, and funk trolls stayed the "default troll" in his head for a long time when it came to him comparing himself to what's average/normal.

I've been slowly tweaking these designs for a couple of weeks now, and now I can finally introduce the Uncles, the colorful group of friends/roommates who raised Hed and Les (word "raised" used loosely, but they definitely shared the living space with them).

Hmm, well, he's one of Ish's roommates and a long time friend. His personality is inspired by how reggae music makes me feel, which is very relaxed and warm in my chest, so he is a very chill and kind troll. The kind of guy you could hang out with in complete silence and it would never be awkward, and who you could talk to about personal problems and not get judged. Though he is very much words no action: I imagine him being a few years older than Ish, but being very unserious and uncommited when it comes to work and making plans for the future (will also avoid making promises), it's always the bare minimum and only when absolutely necessary. So he's not someone you would want as a role model on living life despite his good qualities.

His name is Kymani Poyraz, and he's a trans guy ('cause I think it was canon that all fuchsias are born female or smth).

He's a very awkward guy, but he manages thanks to his moirail. :D
