Tyler paused in the room of art he'd found in the wreck of a castle, the little talking voices and beast of a man wasn't in here.

The supplies where covered in a thin layer of dust. He carefully brushed away some from an old painting, it was good. Tyler reached for a pencil and a empty sketchbook, then he moved opening the large curtains and the whole room lit up. Collections of paintings on the wall all lit up.

Portraits. Three larger in the centre but to small to either side of them. A more... human version of Klaus, blue eyes, easy smile and no claws. A blonde blue eyes woman and a dark haired and eyed man on either side of him. He moved closer tracing names, 'Kol' being the closest to him, Elijah, Klaus, Rebekah and Finn.

All Mikaelson.

So he did have family.

He moved to sit down at the window, eyes catching on the single red rose, sat in front of the portraits and he turned the pencil in his fingers then started sketching it.

"You're not meant to be in here." Klaus's voice was rough. Harsh.

Tyler looked up to see him. He looked like he usually did. Barely holding back anger. Seconds from wanting to bite him.

Again.

"Maybe give me something to do other then explore and Read then." He said flatly.

"You want a busy Schedule?" He asked. "Dinner. Dancing. Reading. I can even schedule you time to learn the piano. I can make yours as packed as you need it."

"What are the candles going to teach me?" He asked flatly. "And who would I dance with?"

"Well, as its just us. Me."

"... I don't Follow."

"You do now." He said suddenly in front of him, taking the sketchbook and paused seeing the only partially done image of Carol and dropped it to the Side and pulled him from the room. "You also stay Out of my studio."

the show runners were bored as fuck because even if they couldn’t make her the original heretic, she could’ve been the original werewitch lol. They were so fucking bored and lazy, they just wanted a plot line for The Originals, but I feel like they could’ve used already existing characters. I mean, I’m all for an Originals show centering Bonnie as a love interest (but obviously not just her as a love interest but with her own story, etc), but even without her, the Originals could’ve been a show simply centering the family sort of like… Succession, but for vampires and the supernatural and a lot more horror and witch themed. Like romance could’ve been a back burner imo, or something that’s properly interwoven in the story.

And there should’ve been more Originals stuff centering TYLER AHHHHH. I needed a proper storyline regarding Tyler and Klaus, like it could go so many different ways. Like they could’ve done a thing where the dynamic that Klaus was supposed to have with Marcel (I say this because the writers are really bad at father son dynamics), he could’ve had with Tyler. Or if not that, I’m always an advocate for bi Tyler and bi Klaus 🤷🏾‍♀️ lol.

they also could’ve gone way deeper into the horror, especially the body horror, of it all regarding Tyler and Klaus’ sirebond. Sort of like a void stiles esque thing regarding Tyler and Klaus possessing his body and controlling him.

The thing about the original werewitch idea (I love that though fr) they’d have to utilize some of Hayley wolf’s plots for Hope. Or better yet show us Klaus werewolf side? Ya know, the thing he hollered and raved about for a thousand years. GIVE US ANYTHING. We know they had a pact mark, which Klaus never had… and his fur color is allegedly black. Random tidbits since we never see Klaus wolf I imagine he’s the size of one of those twilight shifters for shits & giggles.

TO wouldn’t have existed at least the way we know it as if TSC didn’t get cancelled. The writers were adamant of getting Phoeb and Hayley being pregnant came up randomly by Julie. Though, with the way the TO cast has said in previous years about wanting more of the TVD cast on there… it could’ve been something interesting to see how the writers could’ve incorporated some of the TVD cast in there. Joseph wanted Ian to show up. Riley wanted Kat to visit. I think they all wanted more Paul appearances? < that topic is how I ended up making notes for my fic.

TO thrived on witches more than any other supernatural species and Bonnie would’ve done amazing in that kind of dynamic since the bennetts weren’t getting any shine on TVD. But alas, TO can only write white witches. Ik the fandom loves to say Bonnie should’ve been like Vincent when he had little to no characterization… he snapped off on the Mikaelsons and went back to witchcraft everytime.

I think it’s interesting our first introduction to NOLA in TVD was through the Martin witches who were all killed off…

But back to the point. For example: Tyler we see him immediately go off and warn everyone about Klaus. He couldve had a great storyline with them. We never see any of his hard work in the Appalachian mountains. It’s upsetting that Tyler’s family would’ve had the hollow’s bones. Neither Klaus or Hayley ever apologized or cared for the way they ruined his life. Imagine both of them having to apologize for that? Imo, idc what anyone in this fandom says but Michael had the BEST transition ever.

The originals being more like succession instead of a baby plot is fascinating. The writers hated Tyler too much to realize how similar he and Klaus storylines were.
