As we were expecting, the legalization of same-sex marriages is impossible under the conditions of martial law, as it requires changes in the Constitution of Ukraine. 💬 Article 157 of the Constitution of Ukraine: The Constitution of Ukraine cannot be changed during a state of war or emergency. However, the institute of registered civil partnerships is the best alternative in current situation. And the Government, led by the President, has given us a positive signal that the implementation is now only a matter of time!
