 𝐢𝐧   𝐭𝐡𝐞   𝐞𝐧𝐝 ,   𝐢𝐭'𝐬   𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭   the   same   as   the   start .   a   little   girl   laid   out   on   the   sand ,   staring   up   at   the   sky .   the   constellations   may   be   changed   here ,   &   she’s   never   seen   a   moon   quite   that   color   blue ,   but   it’s   not   so   different ,   is   it ,   from   what   once   was ?   what   would   it   be   like ,   elora   wonders ,   just   as   she   had   so   many   years   ago ,   to   live   among   the   stars ?   two   years   on   a   ship ,   but   she’s   never   quite   scratched   that   itch ,   never   gotten   close   enough .   here   is   here   chance ,   come   at   last .   blood   pools   on   the   grey  -  brown   ground ,   the   hand   holding   red’s   lapsing   in   it’s   grip .   she   never   thought ,   truly ,   it   would   end   up   like   this .   &   perhaps   she   should   be   more   frightened ,   should   weep   just   as   mika   does ,   but   elora   is   oh ,   so   tired .   she   does   not   wish   to   tremble   nor   plead ,   to   do   anything   but   close   her   eyes   &   fade   into   sleep .   tears   splash   against   a   red  -  stained   cheek ,   &   she   clutches   red’s   palm   just   the   slightest   bit   tighter ,   a   faint   smile   on   her   lips .     ❛     dramatics ,     ❜     she   teases ,   &   her   voice   is   barely   there ,     ❛     it's   alright ,   captain .   don’t   fret   over   me .     ❜
