THE DIETARY HABITS OF DAEDRIC PRINCES
I finally drew Gamergirl Azura and the Nerevarine... and they are canonically(?) enjoying some Kwama Quiche.
Why? Because if TES6 doesn't give us Kwama eggs at least twice the size of a mudcrab, what's the point? We need that protein for the next 15 years of waiting...
And yes, I actually made it In real life:
Review: It tasted like 10/10 Stamina regeneration.
Next up on the menu: Potage le Magnifique. (No, I won't be adding a Giant's Toe… Unless I find one. Stay tuned)

A word on diet of a Nix-Hound.
The public's well aware, I think, these creatures are hematophages i.e. they drink the blood of other animals. But blood's not the only (and not the most important) fluid they sustain themselves upon. Egg yoke is—indeed: ransacking egg nests is the primary way Nix-Hounds menace other animals (almost all of whom, on Vvardenfell, are egg-laying). Also, Nix-Hounds are the primary predator of juvenile forms of Kwama—worm-like Kwama Foragers—whom they are able to dig out of the ground with their enormous, spade-like feet. Kwama eggs thus are the quintessential delicacy and given the ubiquity of egg mines on Vvardenfell, this has ensured domestication of the species by the Dunmer people. A more exotic still example of a food source are the bulbous pustules of some Bittercoast fungi which Nix-Hounds drain of their fetid liquid—thus, evidently, aiding the process of spore dispersal through digestive action.
P.S: Digital painting. Made in Krita. Feel free to repost, reblog and whatever else.
I just entered the Tel Branora upper tower as part of the main quest and I was literally left stunned and confused for a solid 30 seconds the second I entered
There’s just… eggs… everywhere
'Ah, the Singing War Canoes of Vivec City. Captained by the most respected amongst the Buoyant Armigers, these naval majesties of Morrowind's Inner Sea are spoken of in hushed whispers by enemies of the Pact. The ebullient shanties of the crew turn to mournful dirges, right before the chitinous bow of these canoes cleave lesser ships of wood in twain.'
-- Valema Ruidas, explaining the terrifying chitinous war canoes docked in Vivec City; the oars on both sides make each canoe look reminiscent of kwama.
