General Headcanons:

As we see from his beloved car, when he cares about something, he cares A LOT. Like A LOT. (no... no pun intended on that, I swear.. iykyk.) but when he cares about people I'm sure there's a more passionate side to his caring, sure it can be intense, but he means well.

DESPITE this, he will never admit that if asked.

I also feel many people don't get along with him for how blunt and forward he is. like, bro is SO brutally honest it can hurt, but you know he's right.

We all know he is wildly stubborn though, I don't think he really knows when to back down. Leading me to believe he may struggle with social cues and that of the such, not actually knowing when he takes it too far unless outright told.

Cutie Little Headcanons:

To take it back to the caring part, when he actually comes to care about someone romantically, I feel he worries more than he lets on. Like, yea, you're tough, you're strong, but there's a little voice in the back of his head that tries to convince him something will happen to you. He won't be obsessive about it to the point of toxicity, but call him while you're out, even if he seems pissed off or doesn't talk much. It does comfort him.

on that note, he is the type of dude hand on your thigh while driving. Tell me I'm wrong. TELL ME I'M WRONG.

But I also feel Kurou is less of a talker, more of a listener, so if you're more of a ranter in relationships it really evens it out. He usually gets annoyed sometimes when others rant to him on a more irritable day but from you? Very calming. Trust me he doesn't get why either.

He is also the type to come downstairs in the morning, see you standing in the kitchen and, if no one's there, drowsily hug you from behind. Comment on it, and he'll just tell you to shut up though.

He won't initiate physical touch that often, though, so relish in it!

When y'all are first friends, he typically throws snide comments and huffs a lot in annoyance when you'd speak. By the time y'all are together, and he actually comes to care, it's like he doesn't know how to huff anymore. Or how to be a bitch... it's strange quite frankly, but he will jokingly insult you for sure, you aren't saved entirely.

I could also see him playing with his rings when he's more nervous and anxious though, and honestly, when he is, he looks slightly adorable, but that's more for the fact he doesn't look pissed for once.
