âSebastian?â
The red-eyed butler blinked a few times, snapping out of his daze as he had been looking at you intently for a while now.
âAreâŚyou feeling alright?â You asked, your hand going to feel his forehead, finding it to be a normal temperature, well, for him at least.
Blinking a few more times, Sebastian smirked and wrapped his arms around your waist, thankfully alone in the library he was organizing. You had been there to keep him company. âMore than alright, my dear.â His voice sounded a bit deeper than normal.
Raising your brow, you shrugged it off and wandered over to the bookshelves seeing as he was ok. âThese look sturdy, donât they?â You asked, your hand running over the edge of it.
âYes, they are. They were built into the wall and meant to support a great amount of weight.â
You smiled at that. âGood.â Running a quick hand through your (H/C) hair, you lifted your hand and foot to begin scaling it, it was good practice after all to experience a variety of things to climb.
However, a pair of arms quickly pulled you away from the wall. âCan I help you?â You asked Sebastian who only gave you an intense stare once more.
âNo more climbing.â He said, all but dragging you away to place you down on one of the couches.
âMay I ask why?â Clearly, you werenât amused at being told what to do. You lifted your (B/T) body from the couch only to be pushed back down again. âWhatâs going on, Sebastian? Why the weird stares? Why the sudden demands?â
Kneeling in front of you, his eyes flashed to their glowing slits. âWhen was your last menstruation?â He asked seriously, which made you want to turn away and blush.
âIââ
âDo not avoid my question, (F/N). When was it?â
You turned away, your cheeks becoming flushed with color. âI supposeâŚa little over a two and a half ago? Three months?â Rubbing your sides, you sighed a little. âI blame the corset I had to wear for the past few infiltrations though. Iâve heard they rearrange your organs.â
His eyes immediately went to your midsection, noticing how particularly shaped it was today. âAre you wearing one now?â
âA small one, yeah, Iâm trying to get better at climbing and breathing in onââ Your dress was quickly lifted up and a sharp ripping sound was heard as the corset that Mey-Rin had painstakingly tightened was taken off with no effort. âSebastian!â You shouted, both in annoyance and embarrassment.
His hands kept the dress up, white gloves roaming over and around your midsection. âNo need to be modest, Iâve seen and touched every inch of you.â He replied as if it was no big deal.
Pursing your lips you glanced away. He wasnât wrong, you had quickly fallen for his suave persona. âButâŚstill. We are in the library, someone could come in.â
âNo one will.â He said and leaned back, a sigh of relief passing from his lips before looking at you directly, his hands holding your face to look at him. âDo you really not see whatâs happening?â
Your own (E/C) eyes gave a look of confusion, gaze wandering around the room as if it would help you to try and figure it out. âNo?â You said after a moment, not appreciating how your (S/C) midsection was on display still.
Sebastian sighed and leaned back down, placing a small kiss to your lower abdomen. âYouâre going to be a mother.â
Everything seemed to stop after that statement. And you stared at him, wondering if you truly heard him correctly. âCome again?â You asked, your voice cracking.
The butler picked you up with ease after getting up and turned around to sit on the couch, your back to his chest and in his lap. âI said,â he pulled off his gloves so that he could touch you skin to skin, âyouâre going to be a mother.â He purred, head resting on your shoulder as he traced his fingers and palms on your abdomen.
âHow is that possible?â You whispered, eyes looking down in both awe and absolute confusion.
âWell, when you allowed me entrance here,â his hands wandered down between your legs, running over your bloomers, âand I spilled my seââ
âI-I know how that works!â You stuttered out, turning to face him a bit. âIâm asking, how do you know?â There was no possible way to tell she was pregnant. There was no bump, other than a slight hardness in that area, she had no morning sickness to speak of, nor any other signs.
Sebastianâs eyes somehow seemed to glow more. âMust I say it again? Iâm simply one hell of a butler.â He mused, making you roll your eyes at the overused phrase. âAnd, we have been over this, I am not of this world. I have my ways.â He moved to stand, causing you to stand as well before he suddenly dropped to his knees. âPregnancies for my kind can beâŚdifficult.â He pressed his pale nose to your stomach, taking in a deep breath, âMy dear, you smell even more amazing than before.â He muttered before placing another kiss there. âI will watch over you, protect you, from any and everything. You have become my first priority.â His words were absolute, leaving no room for argument.
Biting your lip, you placed a hand on his head and gently ran it through it, making him hum in contentment. âAnd Ciel?â
âSecond priority.â He answered just as quickly, âYou hold my heart and my life, (F/N). I will protect you.â Sebastian had let go and held you by the hips. âUnderstand?â There was no joking or hint of a lie in his statement. Making you nod slowly. âGood.â His playful smile was back and eyes returned to their blood red wine color. âNow, no more climbing.â
Sighing, you pulled your dress down and nodded. âOk, ok. I understand.â You said, hands going to your boots to pull out a couple of daggers to throw and practice with, only to find them missing. âWhere are they?â You muttered in confusion only to have one whizz past your head and notch itself into the wooden frame of a painting.
âNo knives either.â Came Sebastianâs voice from across the library.
A scowl appeared on your face, âThen that means no âplay timeâ either!â You shouted back to which you suddenly felt his presence right behind you.
âSorry, my dear, but that âknifeâ of mine will not harm you unlike those ones you had in your boot.â His arms snaked around you and his mouth found your ear. âLet me show you.â
