I haven't read all of the Akatsuki lore but i do love these two so so much. Thank you.

5- what visions or hopes do they have for their relationship

They get married privately, imo. Something very small and personal. Souma as the witness. Make me ugly cry. Work through the idoling stuff and eventually aiding each other after leaving idoling behind.

19- where do their morals and ideals align and where do they diverge? are they attuned or in conflict ethically

I think its like one of those swinging diagrams? where it starts aligned but occasionally will swing out of line until they're entirely separate. Eventually they come back to the same solid ground but their guy instinct is very different between the two of them. Keito being more stringent about guidelines and doing things 'correctly' tends to grate against Kuro's more relaxed nature.

20- how did the relationship change them individually

Over time I think Keito learns to relax, kind of. He starts to see the world through a different perspective after being with Kuro for so long. I like to imagine one day they're relaxing and Kuro observes something so casually that just shifts his world view. Idk like "I'm glad I didn't think about this yesterday," sighing dramatically.

Then it Clicks that life can be about today and not tomorrow or yesterday. That its okay to live in this moment. Going to cautiously mention the Buddhism aspect to this in that the last few steps of the Eightfold Path finally align in his mind. Echoing of his father's words finally doing a water droplet style alignment in his whole world view. He has been practicing this belief without ever truly Understanding until Kuro could take his hand and walk with him until he did.

Keito helped Kuro forgive himself, in a way. Accepting who he is and was allows Kuro to reflect on how he dealt with his past and how he can cope with those conflicting feelings moving forward. After long talks I like to think Keito talks Kuro into having a hard conversation with his sister about what happened, so that he doesn't have to hold onto the guilt of previously lying to her. I think it heals him in a way he never expected to feel whole again.

The structure that Keito provides in his life allows Kuro to walk a known path, even with a more laid back energy to it, he now knows where to go instead of trying his best to keep up with what he thought he wanted.

ANYWAYS! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET KURO!! Was it a coincidence that Kuro’s birthday was fallen on the start of Akatsuki trip? Literally so prefect. Also Keito was the one who called me on the morning of Kuro’s birthday. The game told me Kurokei was canon. I only now realised that Kuro was kinda the main star for me this “week”. Kuro Kiryu appreciation week 🫶 Speaking of appreciation, I just wanna shout out @otakuwayly for hosting Kurokei week. It was really fun, honestly could never decide to make smth like this myself lol. I am sure most of my kurokei followers know them but if not check them out they are very cool 🫶
