Locally known as Bobotu, Kapampangan Tamales are filled with the following in Kapampangan: giniling a abias (rice flour), gata (coconut milk), sabo na ning atsuete (annato powder), simulmul ning ligang manuc (shredded chicken), penguiling ham (sliced ham), and ligang ebun (boiled egg). Once opened they look like little mosaics of red, white, and yellow... pieces of art wrapped in banana leaves. The script used here is actually the #Kapampangan script Kulitan or Súlat Kapampángan.

Today, as we Kapampangans celbrates the 449th year of “Aldo ning Kapampangan” (Pampanga day), I just wanna share my first photo with Kulitan script (Kapampangan writing system).

Ako: hahaha Coycoy: uyy grabe *bigla nalaglag yung yelo sa bibig niya* (Tawa na naman kami) ------- *habang kumukuha kami ng condiments* Coycoy: *inabot sakin 2 lalagyan ng condiments* Coycoy: kuya walang mayo. Antayin natin yung mayo (mayonnaise) Ako: ano ka ba matagal pa yun pebrero pa lang. Coycoy: nye *sabay tawa* mayonnaise yun hindi yung month
