It's been a week and I wanted to put my memories down before they're entirely gone. As always, this is a personal report, so I will miss some stuff. My overall Vienna recap can be found here.
Even if you don't care, look at my outfit because I slayed lol (thank you Astrid for taking the pic <3)
Pre-gig:
I met lovely people in the queue, exchanged bracelets, received stickers, overall a lovely time. Especially chatting to two people of which one was next to me during the gig :)
aside from the weather, it was really cold and the wind made it feel even colder
Openers:
The openers were two nice girls, who made some lovely music (I didn't catch their names, if someone knows it, please do let me know!). I'm not sure if their vibe felt fitting for Joker Out, because it felt so much like a chill, wanting to sit down and vibe, very low energy bit. It was lovely, but I think I would have preferred something more high-energy.
Gig:
Outfit thoughts:
Kris had his Muzika za Decu fit on, he looked amazing!!
I loved seeing Bojan in the heart cutout shirt, he looked splendid!!
Jan's shirt with the sleeves, oh my god yesssss
Nace and Jure also looked great, but tbh I didn't focus much on them
I wore my favorite outfit again (Kris Stožice fit) which always makes me feel great
Gig things out of order because I did not remember in order and tumblr is broken and does not let me past the things to put into setlist order:
They opened with Supersonic which holy fuck, what an incredible move, getting everyone hyped instantly!! That song itself is even better live which is hard to think possible, given that I already love the studio version so much that I made a zumba choreography for it!! I loved jumping during the chorus, singing along, the energy, aaaahhhhhh
Ne bi smel!! As always, I adored the Jure solo. But something was with the location or Bojan's guitar not going correctly that I couldn't really feel the vibrations in my chest, which is the part I love most about Ne bi smel live
Plastika!!! I loved Plastika, it was my favorite song this time!!
Kris was so giddy and high-energy during it, and I was too!! Towards the end he leaned forward with this big excited smile, I about melted
Bojan announced Tokio with his usual little spiel of learning a new language, which like cute, but also dude please get some new lines, it felt like we all knew this already since the crowd already screamed "anata ga suki" at him when he said the first sentence lol
Nace and Kris (and then Jan joining) having zoomies at the end of Tokio, that was just so incredibly cute, I wanted to run with them <3
I literally don't feel anything for Bluza anymore. I loved the SYS version, but yeah the studio version is not it for me
Muzika za Decu was absolutely incredible, I loved screaming the chorus with everyone and jumping, it was awesome!!!!!!
Ako Toga was lovely live, it was my first time experiencing it live, and I teared up, it just made me so emotional
Stephanie, I fucking adored Bojan doing the little spins, and also how everyone in the crowd really felt the "love ain't built for people like me" bits, that was just everything
Mesto duhov was very interesting to me live. Bojan started us with the "parampampampam" (or however you'd like to spell it) a capella, and Kris was sitting down at the start of it. It felt somehow really intense.
That moment when Bojan and Kris were back to back with each other and leaned back against each others' necks, holy fuckkkk
Umazane Misli karaoke wasn't as bad as I anticipated, and the incredible @leopardom did the funniest, most iconic thing ever and rickrolled the band, I fucking loved it!! Since I wasn't near that part of the crowd, I elected to look on stage, Nace was laughing and absolutely loving it, Jan came back from backstage happily, and everyone was just immensely enjoying it. The girl singing in Italian also absolutely slayed it, that was beautiful.
I also think that Kris wasn't disliking the karaoke as much as last year, he played some little embellishments (adorable!) and did not pull as many faces lol
Bojan laying on his tummy at the front of the stage while everyone else was playing towards Jure, and Bojan smiling and kicking his feet <3
Kris receiving a Kris lesbian flag, iconic!!!
Bojan and Nace getting discoball headpieces, Bojan going "discoballs :D" because of course xD
also some other moment where I guess a fan was from Finland and Bojan went "suomi :D" because he is That Guy
at the beginning of SSOL (which hell yeah for getting it), Bojan went "Willkommen", incredible!!
Bojan did in fact know that he is 26 during Plastika
we got Supersonic again as an encore after shouting "Zugabe" for a while. While we were still shouting, Jure peeked out his head a couple times from backstage which was cute and funny <3. Supersonic slapped so hard again, I am SO HAPPY that we got it twice!!!!!
Bojan's little speech before Carpe Diem was so sweet, talking about the song getting us all there, how we are still here after 2.5 years, and ugh I get emotional just thinking about it again
quite some people brought their moms to the gig which was cute
somebody threw a Sonic on stage during Supersonic, amazing :D
at one point (maybe Dopamin, I'm not sure anymore), Kris was totally edging his guitar, and oh boy did that make me feel things
Katrina was flipping awesome as usual, the song just feels so cunty to me
during Ona near me there was a drunk girl causing trouble (who got pulled out by security later) so I literally did not really notice Ona at all sadly
Kris' background vocals during Bele Sanje <3<3<3
We got ASTP and I was just thinking about @sparkles-oflight the entire time because it's their fave
during Vse kar vem I just missed @echoes-of-mia and hugging them like we did in Hamburg
Å ta bih ja was fucking great, I loved singing along and just partying, what a great incredible fucking song
I loved Novi Val, it's just so magical when the entire audience is singing along, there was a sea of lights during it and a sea of hearts after it and the band also showed hearts with their hands (and from my POV, Jan actually did it correctly and did not show a potato)
Post-gig:
I met two people in the crowd who I haven't seen in a while and had no idea they were there, which made me just so happy
At one moment towards the start, Bojan was singing at Nace and touching his neck or shoulder or something and Nace went on his knees a bit. I felt that
I was vibing and dancing with my hands and some people looked at me a bit weird, but idgaf
A bit after that Bojan was saying things about this gig being a safe space, for everyone to be themselves and express themselves, and it made me so happy
I met @braveheart1418, @izpira-se-zlato and Madeleine (sorry I don't remember your @ right now) again which was so so lovely, we went to get fries afterwards which was a wonderful way to end the evening, so thank you <3
I met some people again who I haven't met in a while, and talked to @theraggedygirl11 again who I had an incredible dinner with the previous night <3
@leopardom came by to say hi, I loved seeing you irl, and thank you so much for the hilarious stickers, the Kris be gay do crime sticker lives on my laptop now <3
got some compliments on my outfits from a bunch of people, which is lowkey what I'm living for
Thank you to everyone I talked to and/or exchanged stuff with, I had a lovely time <3
Gig photos might follow later because I still did not have time or energy to look at my footage, nevertheless to teach myself darktable to edit them well.
A thing that I only noticed after the second and third watching was that in the Erid epilogue, when Grace leaves the house, he does the arm rub goodbye thing on/to Armando
In the earth epilogue, a couple seconds after Stratt finishes watching the video, she also briefly does the arm rub goodbye

It's been basically a week, and I finally wanted to write down my little Vienna recap. This is a recap of my overall Vienna time, the Joker Out concert recap is in another post.
Wednesday, 19.11.25
After an excruciating 11 hours of travel with some waiting in the cold, I arrived at my hostel. My first impressions of an evening Vienna were of the U-Bahn, the fancy architecture, and after I'd checked in and gone on a quest for dinner, the cute neighborhood I was staying in. I had some alright vegan ramen that while tasting good, it didn't comfort or warm me as ramen usually does.
Thursday, 20.11.25
I had originally planned to do a guided walking tour, which I realized had been cancelled as I was on the way there, so I found a self-guided tour on the internet and walked from the opera house, by the monument against war and fascism (which impressed me greatly), through Hofburg complex (I really liked the Schweizertor), stopped at the Weltmuseum for a warming tea and some much-needed electricity for my phone, by the Naturhistorisches Museum, the Parliament (which had gorgeous lamps), and saw Burgtheater.
I took a detour to grab a vegan burger for lunch, then went to the university on my search for electricity (I should really get a good powerbank lol), sat in a library's reading room a bit and acted as if I was studying and thankfully no one batted an eye. On the way, I saw Stephansdom.
I returned to the tour, saw the Schottenkirche, Mariensäule, went by the Holocaust memorial on Judenplatz, strolled through the bougie shopping streets (and every day, I get more bewildered by capitalism) and somehow ended up at the Spanische Hofreitschule where I was especially fascinated by the ancient roman archeology.
This all amounted to about 3 hours of walking around, so I was quite cold and done, hopped into Billa to grab dinner and chilled in the hostel for the rest of the day.
The big day!! After I heard about the insanity of the queue, I had a slow morning, went to grab my number around 11 (got a good one for general access), chilled and talked to the lovely people for a bit and received some gorgeous stickers and bracelets.
Since it was my last full day, I didn't want to spend it all day long in the queue, especially not at the risk of my health, seriously it was so cold. We as a fandom should seriously stop this queueing madness, this is not healthy and not helping. I get chilling in the queue all afternoon if the weather is nice for meeting other fans, but like, watafak.
I went and saw Hundertwasserhaus from the outside, which was really cool, especially since I happened to see Uelzen Hauptbahnhof earlier this year which was also designed by the artist. I popped into another thrift store on the way, but that one was underwhelming for me.
I had the first (vegan) pho of my life at Pho84 which was very tasty and just the right thing for this day, before grabbing my food for the following day from Hofer (so interesting to see the differences from German Aldi) and returning to the hostel to chill and put on my little outfit.
I cover the gig in a separate post which is linked here.
Sunday, 23.11.25
It snowed during the night!! I woke up to two Southern hemisphere girls from my dorm room being very excited, one of them actually had never seen snow before, her reaction was so adorable.
I finished packing, checked out and ventured to the bus terminal, which I realized when I was there, I had misremembered the time and was a full hour early 💀 So I waited in the cold for an hour, I was SO HAPPY when my bus finally arrived and I could warm my frozen feet on the heater there.
Also what is it with border controls? On the entire trip, there was only border control when returning to Germany, this system is fucked, I hate it. In March when the same thing happened, non-white looking people were endlessly questioned while they only glanced at my German ID. This time, there weren't really non-white looking people on the bus, so this was not the case. I fucking hate how racist the police is, seriously, abolish them.
After I was done with the bus, I had to take other public transport that was fucked and confusing due to construction, and I had to ask a local for help (who thankfully was nice and helpful).
Waiting for my train, they first said the train was gonna be late, then they announced the train arriving which I didn't, then, they said "oh the train is on the opposite track" WHICH THEY ONLY ANNOUNCED AFTER THAT TRAIN HAD LEFT. So I had to wait another fucking hour in the fucking cold for the train after, I HATE DEUTSCHE BAHN.
At 10pm, after 12 and a half hours of traveling, I was finally home.
And guess what, I got sick, rip.
But well, seeing Joker Out was worth getting caught in the Joker Out travel curse and the post-gig sickness, even though I'm still not recovered from the latter.
I'm really happy to have traveled to Vienna, what an incredibly gorgeous city (with amazing public transport), to meet lovely new and old friends and fellow fans, and to experience Joker Out live again, I missed seeing them live so much.
I fucking hate the half hour before an oral exam. You can't realistically study anymore, you can't truly distract yourself. You just have to fucking exist and watch the time ticking down because it would be nonsense to camp in front of the professor's office. Ughhhh.
