I’ve been following your blog for some time, so I can do one better than remember, haha. (Been a while since I last saw your posts, though--hi!) 

I’m pretty sure they must mean Ronny Schiatto’s origin story, which was published in the limited Dengeki h & p (beginning and period) issue (Nov 2007) of the now-defunct Dengeki hp magazine. The issue itself is split into h (beginning) and p (period, end) sections, and each section has short stories written by various Dengeki Bunko authors. h has stories in the mode of first chapters/beginnings, while p has stories in the mode of final chapters, ends. 

The title sounds like the magazine issue’s title–the actual story, of course, has its own title: BACCANO! B.C.300 ~Notorious B·E·Ginning~ (subtitle: “Fullmetal Metallurgist–The Bizarre Adventure-loving HomDiver from the Age of the Lion”). This story is in the h section, along with a Durarara!! story about Mikado’s middle school graduation. 

As you might guess from the reference-laden subtitle, the story has a lot of parody elements in accordance with the issue’s parody theme. However! It was summarized/brought up in LN Volume 22 1935-D Luckstreet Boys, so we can generally regard it as canon. 

The magazine issue itself is super hard to find, these days (when I got a chance to buy it I seized upon the opportunity)–the Japanese text hasn’t been directly translated, but @monomae did a great translation of the Chinese translation here if you haven’t read the story yet. I’ve also got a wiki page up for the story now–it’s our 500th article, huehue.

24: Name [1] anime you wish everyone would watch

It's a toss up between Gintama, Psycho Pass, Hyouka, Barakamon, Ghost Hunt and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun but if I have to narrow down to 1...Barakamon, then. That series is totes therapeutic (would have been Gintama but the length would have probably intimidate people..) 

(would this vid be enough to convince people to watch Gintama despite the length? Pleaseeee?

40: Thoughts on live-action adaptations?

I'm generally apprehensive towards any adaptations of any manga that would requires many special effect or set in fantasy setting or series with non Japanese cast (same with Hollywood adaptations) but some of them are actually really good. Like Library War's adaptation. And the recent RuroKen movies.

the only bad thing about that anime is.... Maybe no S2.... *sigh*

That 0.5 point deduction from my review is exactly that there's little hope of us seeing S2 *cries*. And now that I heard there would probably no plan to release the OST nor the BD...*I need that one awesome track that plays during the intro aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa*
