You’ll be greeted with warm coffee, or tea, on your nightstand just the way you like it. He’s still in bed beside you, his arm loosely thrown over your body. How did he even sneak out of the sheets, brew coffee and return without you noticing?

Hold on, how did Thragg know exactly what kind of foods and snacks you like and managed to go grocery shopping without resulting in casualties or injured? Did he managed to muster enough patience and bravery to ask a worker where the cereal is. And he paid with his own money! You have no idea where that money came from, though.

He is willing to do any chore you’re not enthusiastic to do it yourself. Thragg might lightly scold or quietly side-eye you for not doing the laundry for a while, yet he willingly does it for you.

Thragg is there to help you whenever you ask for it. He doesn’t really complain as he understands that it makes you happy to see him do mediocre things that usually would be way below his status. He’s somehow happily willing to take over chores and other mundane things in order to make you just a little happier.

Also, these acts of service also include giving you massages, washing your hair or anything else you ask him for help for. He never voiced it, but he likes feeling useful to you.

“I’ve already finished that for you. You can concentrate on resting.”

Gift giving — Intensity: 5/5

It’s probably a Viltrumite thing. On Viltrum, affection was not a thing showed openly or privately. A relationship between a male and female was purely for breeding purposes and teaming once your child turns 18 years old. The only thing that was deemed somewhat normal/acceptable, is giving gifts.

Some trinket that one found on another planet while out on a mission, or a packing fresh bandage for their partner just in case. Thragg learned from these traditions.

Whenever he finds an interesting trinket and thinks of you, he takes it with him to hand it over to you when he gets the chance. Those trinkets vary from a piece of jewerly, a hairpin, a shiny shell to a charm for your bag from that one TV show you mentioned liking once.

He also actively goes out of his way to get you gifts. He researches the media you mentioned liking or traces back what fandom the figurines are from you like collecting so much. Then, he’ll locate where to get more: books, figurines, merch, tickets to a convention — whatever it is, Thragg will get his hands on it. Once he’s handing it over to you, he’ll brush it off as nothing major, it’s just something he accidentally stumbled upon. Nothing major.

Thragg also likes to shower you in his things. You can see his lips twitch into a small smile when you walk around wearing one of his shirts. On him, they appear skintight most of the time, but on you, they’re comfortably oversized, reaching down to your thighs. It’s an intoxicating sight and it’s even better when you seat yourself comfortably on his lap. That way, he can snake his hands beneath the fabric to make you squirm a little and jump away.

“You look precious. How about we get you your own clothes? You’re wearing only mine lately.”

Kregg // Second in Command // General

Words of affirmation — Intensity: 5/5

He adores watching your face heat up after buttering you up with smooth lines and sneaky compliments. Kregg doesn’t shy away from showering you with sweet words, but not to the point where it feels insincere. He’s your hype man!

Kregg doesn’t only stick to sweet words that complement your appearance, he also tends to lean over you whenever you’re bush doing something, murmuring things like: “You’re doing really good, darling.” or “Hm, you’re brilliant.”

Also, he really loves using all kinds of petnames for you and helplessly grins whenever you say them back to him. You’re that couple that call each other everything from “sugar pie”, “darling” and “honey” to more unconventional names like “Snuggle Bug”, “Sugar Lips” and “Smooches”. All of them are cringe, all of them make you blush and sigh internally, yet again and again he manages to crack you up with them every time. It’s terrible how he manages to get your attention by calling the aforementioned nicknames half of the time.

At night, when you two talk about your days while lying in each other’s arms, Kregg listens and comforts you whenever you vent about something that had happened. No matter what, he’s on your side, his fingers brushing through your hair as he offers some advice or simply shit talks whoever you happen to dislike. His voice is so gravely and raspy during those moments, making you melt into a puddle against his chest, every single time.

“Fascinating. What exactly are you doing, hun? It seems complicated, though I’m sure your brilliant mind will have no trouble with this.”

Physical touch — Intensity: 4/5

He is incredibly touchy, both in public and private. His hand is always somewhere on your body— his hand resting casually on your waist as you order something by the counter, his arm slung casually over your shoulder as you cuddle up on the couch, or nudging you to come closer as you take a seat ok the back of his bike. Don’t be shy, come a little closer and hug hist waist a littler tighter.

Kregg is a bit of a cuddle bug. In bed, half of his body is slung over yours, his face buried in your shoulder as he snores quietly. He holds your hand and drags you along with him as he wanders to the clothing section of the supermarket to pick out a new rugged outfit for him. He adores having you sit on his lap and cuddle up against him while half-heartedly watching some show on the TV. His hands wander from your thighs, to your waist, to brushing his fingers over your jaw to tilt you towards him for a quick kiss.

You sometimes have the feeling that he was terribly touch-starved before he met you, the way he pulls you just a fraction closer without you even noticing. You don’t mind it— in fact, you started dragging him towards your favourite aisle for change. Kregg willingly let you, trying not to make it too obvious how much he’s enjoying himself.

“C’mere. I haven’t had enough of you yet.”

Quality Time — Intensity: 3/5

With how touchy he is, it’s unsurprising that Kregg is mostly stuck to your side. He adores everything around you, so logically, he loves spending time with you.

It’s not necessary for you two to even do anything; sure, it’s nice to have a date night or a bike trip here and there, but most of the time, he’s content simply being within your presence. You could be working in something, and Kregg would be sitting nearby, busy rolling his cigars or doing whatever. You could be showering in the bathroom with him neatly trimming and maintaining his moustache. It’s not forced proximity, it’s comfortably living together.

To you, it might not feel like much. He’s just hovering nearby wherever you are, maybe even learning a new skill by observing you stitch a hole on your shirt or whatever, but he just loves being near you and feel like he’s a part of what you are doing. Again, he’s your hype man and ready to praise or kiss your frowns of doubt away.

“Oh, are you heading out? Just a moment, I’ll come with. We can use my motorcycle.”

Conquest // Second Strongest Viltrumite

Quality Time — Intensity: 5/5

Conquest is incredibly attached to you. You probably cannot go anywhere without him following either close behind, or moving to the same room after a couple of minutes.

You let him sleep longer in the morning, slipping out of the warm bed to get ready in the bathroom and make some breakfast in the kitchen. It’ll take only a couple of minutes for the sleeping bear to stir, notice that the bedsheets beside him are getting cooler and decide that you’re already awake. He’ll climb out of bed to find you in the kitchen, mumbling a raspy “Good morning”.

Conquest loves to go on dates with you, whether it be to go on a walk through the local park, throwing some breadcrumbs to the ducks swimming nearby. Maybe you’re in the mood to get food and snacks, so he’ll happily divert to some nearby shops and cafés to get a slice or cake or some coffee. Or maybe you want to cuddle up on the couch with some popcorn, blankets and drinks to spend the night watching a movie or series. Whatever you want to do, Conquest is down for it and he happily accompanies you everywhere.

Another form of quality time he adores is you taking time to teach him something new. His fingers are thick and calloused, but he’ll try his best to crochet something, if you enjoy the craft. He’s not good with colours or proportions, but if he catches you sketching and drawing a lot, he’ll have a go at it himself. So, you can actually teach an animal tricks? How fascinating. Thank you for showing him kitten and puppy videos on Youtube.

Physical touch — Intensity: 4/5

Sometimes, he is a little shy and hesitant about it, but he adores your touch. Your hand finding his instinctively while walking through crowds, your body perfectly fitting against his as you lie together at night, or you snuggling up on his sturdy lap while scrolling through your phone. In return, Conquest learns that you like how his warm hand gently scoots you closer against him, or his knee brushing against your when sitting side by side, or his hand slowly and carefully reaching out to hold yours when you don’t initiate handholding once.

He’s nervous about if he is allowed to touch you. You’re a fragile human being, and thanks to his sheer strength and power he could easily crush you or rip you to pieces, yet Conquest’s fingers gently trace shapes over your back as you drool onto his chest, deep in sleep. You trusting him so blindly stirs a protective instinct in him.

Conquest likes being affectionate in public as much as he is in private; hand-holding, a kiss here and there or his arm carefully slung over your waist. He likes showing you off and telling the world around you that yes, you’re his and he’s yours. He’s very proud to call himself your partner.

“Can I hold your hand? It’s crowded here. I want you close.”

He’s a talkative man and enjoys listening to you ramble as well, probably more than talking to you himself.

Your voice soothes him and listening to you ramble off about one of your interests or about some gossip going on in your circle of friends or workplace. Conquest is seriously invested, asking follow-up questions or offering some comments here and there. In return, he talks about the stray cat he managed to approach and pet, the new selection of bread in the supermarket and what he’s planning on do with you on the weekends.

Adding to that, Conquest loves the reaction you give him whenever he gives you a sincere compliment. At first, he felt stiff telling you how good you look today or that being around you is probably a grave weakness if his given how pleasantly fuzzy his brain and chest feel. At some point though, it felt easier and easier to admit how your touch soothes him, or how your eyes sparkle when the sun shines.

He’s incredibly observant about everything, so Conquest compliments the little things you don’t even notice about yourself until he points them out. He appreciates and adores everything about you, so he always gives you praise or a compliment.

“The cat followed me home again. It acts like you, in a way. It’s gluttonous for pets and refused to let me go, so… it’s waiting outside. Can I bring it inside?”

(Pre-season 1)

Nolan Grayson // Omni-Man

Acts of Service — Intensity: 4/5

To show his affection for you, Nolan will do anything. Thankfully, he’s also good at the things you’d like to see; yes he does the cooking, yes he does the cleaning, and the groceries and the laundry and dusting and—

Well, Nolan sometimes likes being a house-husband and pamper you every now and then whenever he has free time to do so. Though, he appreciates it when you do the same for him. Whenever Art is too busy to stitch up the holes in his suit, he’ll cover you in kisses when seeing you begrudgingly fix his suit back up.

Sometimes, you’ll come home to Nolan standing in the kitchen. After tearing your eyes away from how good his butt looks in those pants you got them a while ago, you finally notice that he’s cooking dinner for you two. Now, he won’t ask for it, but if you decide to snuggle up against him from behind or be a willing taste-tester while he’s cooking up a meal, he won’t send you away.

But the acts of service don’t only include household things, but also to have you hunched over a work thing or whatever and for his hands to gently massage through the knots in your back. When the time is right, he’ll let in a hot bath and pour some wine for you to enjoy. Nolan wants to take of you and your worries whenever.

“C’mon, you deserve some time off. I insist.”

Gift giving — Intensity: 4/5

The perk of being able to fly to places all over the world gives Nolan the chance to get you gifts from so many different cultures and of all sizes. You had to get a little shelf to have a place to store them all.

His gifts are not just little figurines, bells or shiny shells, but also all kinds of foods from all corners of the world. Sometimes, Nolan brings you a slice of meat you’re not 100% sure where he got it from. When asking him if it’s from a monster he helped contain during a mission, he’ll just grin and shrug.

More often than not, he brings you takeout native to the country he just visited; Pizza from Italy, a fresh loaf of bread from Germany (that is somehow still warm), Wine from Spain or a good cut of meat from Argentina.

Nolan loves seeing you wear his gifts as well. Whenever he gets you something nice to wear or accessorise yourself with, his chest blooms with warmth seeing you actually like and wear it openly. It feeds something primal within him. His fingers brush over your cheek, but his eyes keep glancing down to your necklace. He bought you that particular piece in Tokyo. He can feel the heat rise from his neck and to his cheeks.

“It… It looks very good on you. How about I take you there personally next time? We can make it a date.”

Words of Affirmation — Intensity: 3/5

He’s very vocal about his love for you! Every day before heading out, he leans over to give you a quick peck on the cheek and to tell you “I love you, see you later hun” or how he keeps complimenting you casually over the course of the day with a “You look very beautiful/handsome, as always” or a “You did good work today”.

Also, whenever you’re out somewhere or talking with friends, Nolan keeps introducing you as his partner, his darling, his love. He will beam at you with a borderline child-like smile when you do the same. It makes him feel very assured!

“You make me feel lighter, in a good way” are one of the things he says to you when unwinding about your day. It’s important to him to remind you how precious you are to him; you are his heart, his life. You make him feel lighter, warmer, more human.

Whenever you start returning his words and tell him how much you love him, or how much you value him, he would vaporise on the spot. You’re too nice to him and you’re not allowed to be. Only he is!

“Oh, now you’re just buttering me up for something, I can tell. You’re never that nice to me for no reason.”

-Her reaction depends on what the reason for breaking up with her was.

-For example: if she’s in the wrong and you broke up with her over it. She understands and is incredibly sad over it, she will definitely cry flying home. On the flip side: if she thinks she’s in the right about the situation, she’s angry. She’ll say something snarky and fly off in anger.

-For whatever reason the break up happened, she accepts the breakup quickly. She’s also the type to move on quickly.

-She learns how to forgive and forget. She learns with time and trauma, that she would rather see you happy and thriving than anything else.

DEBBIE

-Shocked and sad about you breaking up with her. She crosses her arms over her chest and turns her face away from you. Tears fall from her eyes (she’s pretty cryer). She’ll tell you to leave immediately.

-She sits on the couch with a wine glass. She stares at the wine as she swishes it. ‘What went wrong?’ She’d think and reflect on you two’s relationship.

-She moves on but probably doesn’t date for a while. She has her two super powered boys to keep her company and busy.

NOLAN

-He just turns away in frustration. Cant you see why he’s doing all of this? Cant you see how important his mission is? Nolan gets closer to you and takes you by the shoulders, he goes in for a kiss. When you turn your head away, he knows it’s truly over between you two.

-He tries to move on quickly but stuffing his hurt feelings down and never expressing anything negative is a terrible habit of his. It gets in the way of emotionally moving on. He sleeps with quite a few women but dreams of you.

-He needs to fall in love with someone again to make him let go of you. As an ex, he’s always trying to get back with you. A catastrophe taking place and he’s saving you and bringing you somewhere safe. Because you might not love him but he *cares* about you.

-He feels pathetic for being like that especially for a human, something that doesn’t even live a 1/10th of his lifespan!

ALLEN THE ALIEN

-Frustrated, you’re actually breaking up with him? He couldn’t believe you! Don’t try to comfort him, he’s leaving.

-Rots in bed for a day or two and looks at pictures of the two of you. He sighs and deletes all your guy’s photos off his phone.

-Moves on but is always going to be a little awkward around you. He’s friendly but he’ll always have you at a arm’s length.

CONQUEST

-He’s so sad but he knew he wasn’t made for love, his mission is to be a conqueror. SO SAD. He told you how lonely he was, you knew his secrets and held the key to his heart.

-ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT MOVE ON. He wouldn’t know how to. He’s either leaving to fight forever or on his knees begging for you to love him again.

-Terrible ex to have. Conquest loves with *everything* he has. You are the only thing he has. Stalks you and kills any and all competition. You knew him well enough to know he would never harm you… you think…

KREGG

-Saddened and hurt. He would almost cry and would beg you to reconsider immediately. He’s so sorry, he can change! When he goes in for a hug, you turn away and he knows he has lost. He leaves.

-Moves on, it takes a while but it’s definitely helped with sex. He has plenty of women to love~.

-Okay ex to have. He leaves you alone and if you come across him somehow, he’s smile and wave at you. He’ll text you afterwards and ask if you want to hang out again. Yes, he still wants you.

THRAGG

-In shock from your request. You wish to “break up” with him? He is the strongest Viltrumite and in the entire universe, there is no mate that could ever be better than him. He accepts the request though and leaves saying “Perhaps you were not meant to carry my seed.”

-He moves on-ish? Thragg goes to Thraxa and breeds 100+ females and has hundreds of kids. Every time he thinks of you, he furiously fucks a Thraxan female. He eventually stops being sad over you and his vigor for combat and to complete his mission raises.

-Not the worst ex to have? It’s not like he would ever hurt you or try to force you back into a relationship with him. But he does show up to your residence from time to time to vent to you because he literally has no one else to talk to…

SINISTER MARK

-Why would you even try to break up with him? Are you crazy or dumb? You literally saw him beat someone to death and eat them afterwards. 50/50 chance he murders you and 50/50 chance of him just laughing at the notion that you could break up with him in the first place.

-Sexually assaults you if he lets you live, he’s completely insane. You’re his and if you resist, he’ll kill your entire family and present their heads to you.

-There’s no way he’s letting you go. So just be a good girl/boy and open your legs for him.
