I attempted to make a proper bell tutu and I used three different shades of pink tulle for a gradient effect. after the gathering, I ironed each layer before sewing it onto a half-leo I made. The fit is quite comfortable, but I'd like to improve the volume with more layers of tulle. The bodice and overskirt are one piece. I tried to modify a commercial pattern for a boned bodice, but I don't like the way it ended up fitting me, so I'd probably completely remake that.
The wig is my AKB0048 Nagisa wig restyled with french braids, a mega-ahoge, and re-styleing the bangs. The mini crown was purchased. The feather headdress was made and bedazzled by me. I don't care that the classic Swan Lake one goes in the opposite direction, I will always think this style is more universally flattering.
The wings in the back are detachable along with the blue wire tails. I wear them on a thin belt. The bracelets are wooden beads painted gold. The puff sleeves have a layer of glitter organza on top of them. Necklace is made from misc. pieces of rhinestones, old jewelry, craft foam, and a translucent folder. It attaches to the necklace via clip on earring bc I wear the choker for regular fashion too.
I taught myself over several months to be strong enough to go up in pointe shoes and do limited poses. Yes, I know the risks and hearing them again isn't going to change my mind lol. I take no responsibility for if anyone gets inspired to try what I did and it goes differently than it did for me. I ofc do not expect to have perfect form, and I'm open to constructive critique, but cruelty will be deleted.

Something that I’ve always been curious about with Princess Tutu is, where is Kraehe meeting up with the Raven??? Where is this setting?!? Like even when we follow Tutu and Drosselmyer to that odd timeless dimension with clocks and gears there’s a clear sort of….portal or entrance I guess is the word I’m looking for. Whenever new locations pop up, usually as a viewer you’re still grounded in the overall setting and can conclude that you’re in Goldcrown. (Or in Drosselmyer’s suspended time dimension out of bounds. Or even in some adjacent spirit dimension with the story tree but all of it is still somewhat grounded.)
But where the heck is the Raven???? He’s sealed away yeah but WHERE???? Where is this odd, seemingly vast, dark, feathery abyss holding a giant Raven??? Like I assume underground since that’s where he emerges from when all the shards are returned but there’s never a solid moment to trace Kraehe’s journey visiting him. We only see cut scenes of her walking up to him when she’s already there in that dimension I guess but how does she get there? Is there an opening or portal somewhere like how Drosselmyer uses a grandfather clock Doctor Who style? Where is she going? I NEED TO KNOW!! WHERE IS THIS VOID LOCATED????
