WHAT TO DO

To plan your summer here, the theme for this event is all about bikers vs surfers! Anyone can choose sides to the rivalry, so hang around with whoever and share anything. Just don’t forget about the most important aspect: summer.

THE BEACH CLOSES ON AUGUST 31st, 2026, but as it may be hard to pick a side, make your final decision by THE END OF THE FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER ( 9/7 ).

HOW TO SURF & BIKE

To take part, you must be a member of k-records! Member spots are currently opened, so if interested, check out the pinned post and requirements for all of our applicants!

To our k-record members, all questions would be preferably asked within the network’s discord server! However, questions can be answered via dms (either to any admins or the network itself) or inbox. If you do not have current access to the server, please dm either of the admins or the network to get the link.

Make sure to follow the guidelines set for your work. Those rules include having the genre, warnings, pairing, word count, etc. at the top of your work.

Any kind of work will be accepted! Written, SMAUs, headcanons, scenarios, graphics—you name it! For written works, any word count can be accepted as long as it reaches the minimum of 300 words. There is no maximum word count, so spill what you want to say! For graphics, the minimum required media are 3 pieces and must have a theme relating to summer and surfing or motorbiking.

If there are any updates that conflict with your posting for this event, please let us know as soon as possible.

As mentioned earlier, submissions would be suggested to be sent out on August 31st. However, the latest deadline would be the first week of September (1-7). Anything that is sent after those dates will not be included for this event specifically.

WHAT TO RECEIVE

Beach photographer will send summer memoirs through this file here! Works will be shared on September 8th within EST! So, be on the lookout!

› To start off your letter, the theme for this event is all about love letters. All confessions start from somewhere, so write to your hearts content about anything you’d like to share! Just don’t forget about the most important aspect: love.

› LETTERS SHOULD BE SENT OUT ON FEBRUARY 14TH 2026, but with factoring the potential fear of rejection, bring up the courage to send it by the END OF FEBRUARY 2026. Don’t let your written confession go to waste!
