Today was Miss Honey's first day of the new term. I spoke with Thibaut about what was popping and built my lesson accordingly. He had some tender broccoli rabe, a plump little cauliflower, and some sweet-ass baby kale. There is a 6 foot brick of donated spaghetti I'm working through so I set a little skill test prep sesh with my new Homies to make our first garden pasta together. You don't even know how cute it is when you see them breathe in the brown butter and garlic.A couple of my kiddos really love great food and cooking. One of these little Chefs had the idea to put small cubes of cheese at the last second so you'd have a few gooey surprises. Legends! It was deeeeeeeelicious!
