oh, it's easy. we both agree on the character that we want depicted on the image, as long as is an asura character (my humans/sylvari/norn look like shit, and I'm still not confident enough on the charr), we share some pictures of the character for reference, maybe talk about their personalities or something for inspiration, and then draw each other characters ^^
