Yessss, I’m glad I could help!!! She also perplexed me a bit in her first appearance, but when I realized just how many hints they put her (in both her behaviors as well as the Christmas stuff in the house and the dialogue from Rudy) then I started to understand her a whole lot better tbh. I know a lot of people are just commenting on how evil and controlling she is, but it’s in that controlling nature that you see someone who cannot bear to let go again imo
Like I know it was probably for the plan but I don’t think she would take well to someone holding her (seemingly) dead daughter’s guitar in any circumstance, or for her other daughter even allowing that in the first place. And I think that’s why her control over Noelle is so concerning yet tragic in a way. It’s clear that she wants to protect her and not lose her like she lost Dess, and if she has to exert that toxic control she has over her, then she certainly will
