Kamui frowned slightly. He didn't look fine to her. Empathy was her tool to see that something was off. Just what, she wasn't sure. A gentle hand reached out to him, offering support. Of all the places he could have wandered to, why did he pick the shrine? It was cold and dark and he should have hunkered down in the little apartments assigned to them, but he couldn’t sleep; he was too confused and curious to settle down. Meandering around without a real purpose had lead him to the overgrown shrine, but he didn’t wander any further than the stone gate.
When another joined him, he turned his attention away from the worn wood and chipped paint. “Looks like no one’s been here for a while.”
