@kotlcpridemonth I had no one to proof read so sorry if it sucks! And I can make a part two if y'all are interested. Reblog or send me an ask if so :) No one knew exactly how the two got together it just sort of.... happened. Dex and Fitz were both too embarrassed to say that Fitz had blurted out he liked Dex while they were coming back from a dangerous mission and both needed strong medication. Not that it mattered to anyone how, (excluding Keefe) all they cared about was that the two were happy. Happiest they had ever seen, except for today. Today Dex had done something incredibly stupid. He'd saved Fitz and had gotten himself kidnapped in the process. No one was happy. Each reacted in different ways. Sophie, the poor dear, beat herself up over having lost her best friend. She felt numb and tired. She found solace in Linh's company who would tell her that it wasn't her fault and held her when she cried. The two were almost inseparable and whenever Sophie was completely alone she would burst into tears. She knew all of Dex's insecurities and worked through them with him. After going through that the two were even closer, so loosing him felt even worse. Linh didn't know the boy too well but knew he was important. Her heart would break every time Sophie would talk about the small things she missed about Dex and would cry into her. She felt devastated because the whole team was falling apart. She never knew how much someone could miss just talking to another person who felt out of place. Tam was dealing better than most. He made it a point to not get close to people. Of course he missed his intellectual conversations and how he was one of the only people he could talk to about strategic moves without arguing. He was worried about the others more. Everyone was a mess. 'No one was going to come out of this unscathed' he thought, 'not even me.' Keefe felt bad each passing day because he was once affiliated with the Neverseen and seeing everyone so sad and broken broke his heart. He would try to keep the air as light as possible and make people laugh everyday but it was tiring. He could never make Fitz laugh no matter how hard he tried. Biana was so so worried about her brother. She could hear his heart break when they announced they couldn't find Dex. She saw each day how his anger grew. She watched him destroy himself over finding Dex. The worst part was that she couldn't do anything to help. To say Fitz was a mess was a severe understatement. He was either planning or pacing and refused to do anything else. He yelled when anyone tried to interrupt him. His room was a mess. They had to physically force him to take care of himself. Sophie would sometimes yell at him at points because "she misses him too!" Fitz would cave and take care of himself only to go straight back to looking for Dex. Sometimes he would cry, sometimes he would laugh, sometimes he'd feel numb, but none of that mattered. All that mattered was finding him. He wanted to see his smile. Cuddle on a couch and talk about anything and everything. Kiss his lips and watch him blush as he laughed. He missed it all so much it physically hurt. He just wanted his adorable boyfriend back. Sophie was able to pull herself together enough to grab her spy ball and called everyone together to look into it. She whispered the name "Dex Dizznee" and up popped the worst thing she had ever seen in her life.... (to be continued maybe?)
