also, what anime would you recommend for someone new to the genre? a few people have INSISTED i watch one piece, but i'm not really sure if that's for me or not... i've seen clips and some of it isn't bad but some of it freaks me out.

i work a second job during the night at a couple music venues in my city and at one place we recently got a new lights system that has been fun to learn the controls too. I realize that sounds kind of lame, but the energy has changed so much (:

one piece is very good! i’ve been watching since I was a kid. I can’t exactly suggest it to others often though because of the length, and because the author sucks at drawing and writing female characters. If you’re looking for action and shonen type stuff, I’d highly recommend jujutsu kaisen! it’s got a great story and amazing characters.

I’ve been super into the new light tech at my work. I’ve been really busy learning it while also teaching others. I really like my job and could talk about it forever.

I’ve also been SUPER into the new Jujutsu Kaisen season. I don’t know if anyone out there is an anime fan, but it’s so good. Definitely doing the manga justice.

I’m also traveling abroad this summer with friends. I’ve been nonstop planning outfits, if I’m being honest.(:
