I mean, I can fully handle the feelings they bring about, but anything related to the death of a parent --extremely focusing on the loss of a mother-- is one surefire way to make sure I am crying in a little pit for a little while. And Steven Universe with it’s ten minute only episodes sure knows a way to make even a minute or two long clip really hit me hard.

It takes a lot to really make me break down emotionally, but fuck. Rebecca Sugar has that metal of honor now. I don’t know if she can just write those experiences and make it so life-like, even in animated characters human or not, or if something devastating has happened to her to be able to relate it with others... either way, I’m in awe of her talent.
