LU Koridai General Headcanons
Wanna start writing for this guy because I think he might have genuinely become one of my favorite Links, but he only belongs in comedies. If he got into a fight with a villain from the mainline games he would only win through a hilarious Rube Goldberg machine series of Milo Murphy-like events Word Count: 497
This Link has no idea whatâs going on 99% of the time, but heâll do his best! Everyone around him (not from his universe) is constantly mystified that heâs not dead.
Some of his tools might also baffle the other Links. Iâm taking the tutorial as canon, meaning every time he wants to talk to someone, he hits them with his sword.
The group has to coach him out of the habit.
Explosions donât damage him unless he gets hit with a few very specific pieces of shrapnel, so he sometimes blows himself up and just walks it off. Wildâs magic bombs in particular are fun for him to use because thereâs no debris, just the explosion itself, so Koridai doesnât need to worry about any injuries at all.
He is so, so cringe. The other Links get second-hand embarrassment from him, and he never seems to notice.

Probably incapable of feeling embarrassed, honestly.
Heâs got a reputation of being a big flirt for asking girls to kiss him, but he actually doesnât know what comes after that. Dating? Whatâs that???
I donât think he ever expects to get kisses. He gets rejected often enough by Zelda, at least, but in his mind it just never hurts to ask.
Miiight be a bit socially unaware of the culture surrounding asking for things. In his mind, if you want anything, even if you know the person probably wonât give it to you, you can still ask. Doesnât understand if people get upset at him. He gets that being asked over and over would be annoying (like Zeldaâs annoyance at the kiss thing) but if itâs just the one time why are people upset? They can just say no???
Reacts to getting kisses the same way he does when receiving anything else. âWow, thanks :)â
Big appetite. He can and will eat triple the amount of food the others eat. Heâs not greedy, and heâll definitely share if asked, but he might ask for something in return.
Will absolutely pick random things up off the ground with no regard for if he should or not.
It seems like he just lives in the palace with Zelda and the king, but heâs not very settled-in. He mostly just crashes on their couch and goes places they tell him to.
Heâs actually not weird-looking, itâs just the animation style of the games. (Hyrule isnât a bundle of pixels, after all.) Pretty much everyone can agree that heâs cute in a way that would make old women give him things. Think less like-like cute and more parental instinct inducing cute.
Speaking of, he mostly resembles Legend with a lot of Hyrule mixed in, but with much blonder hair and somehow even fluffier bangs.
The color of his clothing sometimes just changes. He never notices and will act confused if anyone points it out.
I think he has lips similar to Sky based off of the header image and nothing else
