Korats are one of the oldest cat breeds and has changed little over hundreds of years. It is known for its heart-shaped face and green eyes. Its coat is sometimes called "the color of a rainy day" although its native Thailand calls it the Si Sawat calling it the color of a sawat seed. They are also known as the "good luck cat" and are often given in pairs to newlyweds in hopes for good health and good fortune.
