Today will be too nice of a day to not be outside. It's sandals weather, for sure, but my boyfriend and I decided to go on a roadtrip to a state park (in another state LOL), so I'll be wearing sneakers instead. That'll be okay, as that seems like a good activity for a day like today. I love warm weather roadtrips.

Let's see if I can put together a casual Cinco De Mayo outfit, as we will try to find a Mexican restaurant for dinner. Many are doing Cinco De Mayo specials all weekend long.

I'm wishing I'd've worn a different pair of earrings yesterday, rather than the tacos two days in a row. I definitely want the studs for today, given what I'm doing, and I also want the context of the earrings, to differentiate my look from Christmas LOL.

I don't think it's supposed to get chilly tonight, but I'll bring a light jacket just in case.

Cinco De Mayo

What I am wearing today to the office.

The creation of Cinco De Mayo outfits always gets interesting, as it takes my jewelry to "explain" that I'm not using red, white, and green to create a Christmas look LOL.

My boyfriend and I are going to get dinner at a Mexican restaurant after work, if it's not too crowded to get in.

We finally have a springlike day, and no rain 🙂.

End of day thoughts: A few of my coworkers and I got Mexican for lunch, as well.

Today is an off day completely from work; courts are closed, and so is our office, for Good Friday. My boyfriend is off work today, too, so we'll spend the day together. We know we'll be getting lunch and dinner at the last of the church fish fries. Just him and I for lunch, but this afternoon one of my cousins and her family will be arriving from out of town, so we'll probably all go out to get fish for dinner.

I have a skirt that I'd like to wear, an older skirt that's not really my style anymore, but it is kind of cute for the look I'd like to create. It's kind of dressy, but I think it looks okay here with the rest of my outfit being casual. What do you think?

End of day thoughts: My original idea was to wear full length leggings with Ugg boots, but did capris because sun was predicted. We ended up getting very little sunshine, actually. It wasn't too bad, though, since I wasn't outside for any appreciable length of time.

Today is a work from home day, with a lunchhour client meeting at Panera Bread.

Today is supposed to be cool and overcast, so it seems like a day for a gray and black outfit.

End of day thoughts: My area set a record for least snowiest February ever recorded. One of the weathercasters put it like this: we had more 70 degree days during the month than tenths of an inch of snow LOL.

My boyfriend and I have a dilemma of sorts. Today is supposed to be warm, sunny, and too beautiful to not be outside. We just can't figure out what to do. There aren't any festivals anywhere that we can find. We could visit the downtown of one of the smaller cities within an hour's drive, but so many things are probably closed on Sunday. We're really in the mood for going to a park somewhere, it's a great day for a hike, but things will be too muddy with the melting snow. There is an outlet center we can visit, and have dinner at one of the nice restaurants there; we just may do that.

My boyfriend just thought of something, there is a game preserve in a park in our area, with paved and gravel pathways. There is a duck pond, a small aviary, and a few other things; not a zoo, it's actually a free attraction. We haven't been there in a long time, actually, so we'll do that. We'll get dinner at a casual restaurant in the area.

End of day thoughts: We ended up getting dinner at a chain sub shop; not Subway, but a different chain that we think is better. A simple outing, but a lot of fun. We stopped at the store to get some bread for the ducks. I did most of the feeding, though, as he spent most of the time playing with my ponytail 🥰.

The snow has basically melted. It was nice to be outside without needing hats or gloves or heavy coats. I just wore a windbreaker for a while after dark.
