March 2018: Geiko Kogiku (Masuume Okiya) of Gion Kobu performing at an ozashiki.
Kogiku had her Misedashi in 1998 and her Erikae in 2003, so she has been active in the karyukai for 20 years already! She should be either 35 or 36 right now.

Romantic bunch of chrysanthemums for this matchy matchy outfit, featuring many kinds of mums species and styles.
Graceful itogiku (”thread chrysanthemum”) kimono, with cheeky peeking kogiku (round mums) on the hakkake (seen on).
Patterns on hakkake lining have been making a come back in kimono fashion lately. I find this style very fun and pretty (it’s so iki to see those hidden patterns peeking when wearer is waling!).
July 2014: Geiko Kogiku (Masuume Okiya) of Gion Kobu performing a dance.
