I am The Sun
Sometimes I feel like I'm the sun I shine onto the dark and I bring light on days where the plants and people need rejuvenation Like the Sun I cast shadows but I can get rid of them as quickly Like the Sun, it's my job to shine. One place or the other, I am needed, I am needed, I am needed.
Like the Sun, I hide behind stormy clouds on offputting days. My tears pelting and flooding the ground My hands hitting against my own earth, thundering and clapping loudly My hair being pulled, falling out like hail and sleet My screams loud and collide with light My rain become storms, storms to tornadoes, tornadoes to hurricanes Snowstorms and Blizzards, mixed emotions of hate and apathy, desperation and need, happiness and caring, tears of joy, rage, anger
And as fast as it comes, it is gone. I am the Sun once more. Clouds drift in and out but ultimately I shine The people can live without the rain The plants live without the storm
They cannot live without the sun.
One day, the sun will explode. fizzled and gone, taking anything it can with it They will not care Everything is replaceable Even the Sun.
I sometimes, feel like the Sun.
