I've been mostly writing lately tbh, but here is some art. Kochab!
I want her to look the opposite of Nicoe as they serve as foils. So she has straight hair and the angle of her bangs goes the opposite way. She's got a side ponytail as well, but it's pretty short and she's got long hair on the sides.
I suspect the readers will hate her guts for most of the comic. She's not a bad person or anything like that, but she does serve a semi-antagonistic role and she's a terrible communicator, frequently leading to people thinking she's a stuck-up rude snob when she's actually completely socially inept.
Uhhh let's see... Not too much else I feel like I can share tbh. ;_; I've mostly been writing because I hurt my hands working on crap and I'm trying to give them a break. Typing doesn't hurt too much. I'm still kind of struggling with a plot for Chapter 0 (aka the practice chapter) but I read some advice online to just write a scene you've always wanted to write so maybe I'll try that? idk. It doesn't need to be long. Just 15 pages or something like that, so I can get some practice drawing everyone before working on it for reals, you know?

Question: on the page where Kye is asking what a burn feels like, the Guide seems to have a hand imprint around one hand. Is it just a design or on their first meeting did Kye take the Guide's outstretched hand and accidently burn them?
