Now, this doesn't refer to everybody. And if the description matches you, I'm not coming after youXD. These are just my thoughts.

Simplification/mischaracterization of characters.

The whole point of characters are so that they are complex. Although, when it comes to the fandom, that kind of goes out of the window. For example, Obanai is just seen as a Mitsuri simp, but his character is much more than that. In the infinity castle, he practically sacrifices himself for Tanjiro. Yes, he gets jealous, but why is that his defining trait and the only one people talk about?

2. Misinformation

Especially with like fun-fact youtube shorts or in other socials, it gets especially bad. Like Muichiro DID NOT die on his birthday. Shinobu only told Kanao about her plan, no one else. And Sanemi WAS NOT going to propose to Kanae.

These are fine as headcanons, but please try not to pass them as fact. If you aren't sure, ask someone who has the manga. Google searches will just tell you what is popular, not what is true.

3. Arguments about ships.

This is apparent with Shinogiyu, Sanekana, and Sanegiyu. Like how hard is it to just respect each other's ships? A ship may not make sense to someone who ships something else, and they might think that they are mischaracterizing the character. But, spreading hate probably won't make the person change what they ship, so just stop trying XD.

I personally respect ships as long as they aren't illegal or proships.
