Just finished the third motif. This one is slow going. I like to fold the hem on my sweaters up while I'm knitting them. Working on this guy again. Second pic is of my using the Portuguese knitting tech to purl fair isle. It's much easier to purl Portuguese style when you have to fair isle flat. I recommend everyone try it. You do have to watch your tension because it knits tight but it's not hard. The yarn goes through your left hand through a ring attached to your shirt (I use a stitch marker) then back to your left hand. You make the stitch with your thumb. They do have special tool to hold the yarn up. Some are necklaces and some magnetically attach to your shirt.
