âwell ... how do you know?â despite existing characteristically as a well-mannered and overly-polite young woman, nothing could change the fact that park yorae is a nineteen twenty year old girl. nothing but time, of course - but the moment is now, and as of now, sometimes her childish tendencies get the best of her. thus, when the other idol bursts her bubble, claiming that fairies arenât real - she all but has a conniption.Â
she fails to realize just how juvenile her belief in a handful of mythical creatures is. none of her group members have ever really instilled in her a more âadultâ point of view ... though admittedly, even if they tried, she probably wouldnât accept it. it makes her happy, thinking that these magical and secretive beings are out and about in the world. for someone to so vehemently tell her otherwise is a rude awakening - and she very well chooses to stay asleep.Â
âif theyâre not real, then who puts the little dew droplets on the leaves every morning, even in the summer? and how do the flowers come back to life after winter?â she knows, and has been told, that science alone can answer these questions. and while she believes that to a high degree, it canât all be science, can it? what more is science than what a myriad of humans have come up with? if fairies donât appear to humans, how would they know?Â
âthey are too real, oppa!â she declares stubbornly, pouting something fierce, âyouâre just a party pooper.â
