I really love the contrast between Soichiro and Okonogi. Soichiro, despite being family, only ever seemed to bring Hoshina down and make him doubt himself.

Meanwhile, Okonogi quietly and deeply resonates with his story of perseverance and all the effort he's put into getting where he is.

It makes me wonder...

What was it like when Hoshina told Okonogi his story?

She knows so much about him! I love that their relationship isn't loud or obvious, but the story still gives it such an important place in Hoshina's character development.
