3. top five costumes

Two of the classics that pop up first are modern rogue and punk Storm. I love that most x-men have their costumes sorta matching however they look or whatever their team colors are, but for rogue she doesn’t apply to that and fucking works the green. And punk storm is just awesome, period. 

This isn’t a costume but I love (and miss) Colossus’s horseshoe facial hair, which was yes, metal too like literally. 

I fucking love Spider-woman’s leather jacket with her character’s spider design- ok idk how to describe it it’s just cool and I need it. 

This last one’s a hard choice so I’m going with Catwoman. It’s simple and sexy and just so her. 

5. five positive things- arcs, deaths, events, issues - that stuck with you.

The idea of Squirrel-Girl going back into the 60′s to prevent Dr.Doom from future taking over the world was genius and one of the most fun I ever had reading any story. It was fucking hilarious and would recommend to read to everyone. Seriously just read it, there’s time travel and squirrels. 

That time Kamala (Ms.Marvel) had her friend who was tinkering with leftover lokibots to make a couple clones of herself so she’d have time to attend to her sister’s wedding, but…the cloning didn’t stop and there were THOUSANDS of her just saying their pre-programmed sentences, omg so fucking funny. what a ride. 

In Silk, Cindy had tried to find her missing family, who vanished sometime when she was locked away hiding from those asshole spider hunter people. Somehow with the help with her work friends (who are a super cute wlw couple btw) she enters the phantom zone and finds her mom is a fucking bamf who’s like a damn samurai, kicking all the phantom ass, and all together they escape and reunited as a family and it’s the sweetest thing ever. 

There’s a all new wolverine annual where wolvy and Gwen (spider-gwen) swap powers because bad guys gotta be jerks sometimes yah know? Anyway it’s really amusing, cute, and the attention to detail in the characters’ expression is amazing. Well worth picking up. 

Speaking of Wolvy there is an arc (and this is SUPER SPOILERY I’M SO SORRY NERDS) where they send her keeper out, the one she lived with who helped torture her as a child in the weapon x facility, to end her for good. They used the fuck out of the trigger sent to fuck with poor Laura, who ended up murdering an entire town. Laura eventually got sort of immune to the scent, and went out for Kimura’s (the keeper) ass. She fights her one to one and tells her she isn’t her toy, she isn’t her weapon; She is Laura, she is Wolverine; she is human and nothing and nobody is ever going to dare to control her anymore. It was fucking. amazing.

Magneto and Squirrel-Girl just on the basis of Erik having a squirrel tail.
