2. a character whose POV you're currently exploring

real answer is my very own oc: jude beatrice. i dont know how to make this interesting given that he only exists in my mind and yet ive been hyperfixated on him and this story i created for the past MONTH with no signs of stopping. jude's a hockey player with ocd tendencies and i love him very much! he's not the main character for this story but he's a very important part of it and im currently writing a tv screenplay version of this idea so im messing around with his perspective a lot :)

alternate (rpf) answer: elias nils pettersson (#25) from the vancouver/abbotsford canucks. we sometimes call him junior. this guy was a rookie this season for my hockey team and ive been writing stuff from his pov often idk why i just like him a ton

22. do you ever worry about public reaction to what you’re writing? how do you get past that? yes. i have worried about these things several times in many different fandoms, including when i first started posting dsmp works years ago!!! something similar happened when i first started getting into sports rpf as well-- i would just get caught up in thinking about whether people (who knew me personally, mostly) would find it strange or offputting etc etc and it would stop me from posting! but then it got to points where i would write SO MUCH or think about these fandoms so obsessively the need to share would kind of override my fear lol

The first thing Luca learns after turning 21 is that drinking in bars is a bad idea when it comes to keeping secrets. He’s stumbling home, arm around someone’s shoulder he can’t quite place without turning his head, which could possibly- probably- lead to him throwing up.

“I miss Adam,” he says, pathetic even to his own ears.

“I know you do,” comes the exasperated reply, “you’ve said about 10 times now.”

“But you don’t get it,” Luca whines, stopped before he can explain how much he loves his brother by a grip on his shoulders, turning him to face what ends up being a dark eyed Frankie. It’s useful, how much less sunshine radiates from Frank than Adam. Sobers Luca in a way he desperately needed.

“I do get it,” Frankie cautions, “but you need to stop before everyone else gets it too.”

It’s all Luca can do to nod, and Frankie nods once in turn.

Maybe Cole has been trying to get Shea to notice him for an eternity, but nothing he does works

Nick buys him a potion off eBay, because he’s just so done with the pining good god. No one likes Sad Boy Cole

Cole isn’t even going to use it- it would be a huge blow to his ego, thanks very much. But Nick goes over his head with it and then?? It doesn’t work?? Which is an even BIGGER BLOW to Cole’s ego

Until.. well Nick got a second potion from the same batch ? And he gives it to Slaf to use on Arber? (Ignore the fact that Shea wasn’t on the team with them shhh) and it WORKS!
