“Something tells me you already have a few brewing in that head of yours” she commented, picking up the towel where he dropped it carelessly onto the floor, then arranging it on one of the loungers - all nice and straight for when he climbed out.

“You should share those with me and see if our thoughts are coalescing!”.

She had read the email about ten times, trying to decipher what Jon might’ve meant by ‘a little something’. But she’d never guess, he was too fantastically unpredictable for her to ever stand a chance of working out his plans.

Kit’s attention was drawn from reading it for the eleventh time, by a knock at her office door, the resinding tippity-tap-tap-tap of her new adminstration manager - Dolores. The woman was a godsend. Ruthlessly efficient, not much on the small talk and most importantly, not currently in the process of getting married so the constant ‘wedding chatter’ she’d been subjected by the role’s previous incumbent, had ceased. Thank the lord!.
