a long weekend of crewing and pacing for my friend David at Red Dirt Ultra 100K in Louisiana. A group of us drove down, stayed at a farm bnb and explored Kisatchie National Forest by supporting during the race and sweeping the course the next day to take down markers.

Autumn on the bayou
Got out and explored the Wild Azalea Trail today for the first time after Hurricane Laura, and it is daily devastated. In the mile or so of trail I walked there were 9-10 trees blocking the trail, and the devastation is impressive. no wifi over weekend~camping at kisatchie national forest for 2 nights with kathy and jared! super fun~hiked backbone trail 7miles! super tiring. camped next to a creek at Bayou campsite, very cool water~had lots of fun showering in creek!
