I haven't spoken much about my life here but I want to share how much the omorashi community on Tumblr was healing for my religious trauma.
I discovered pretty early on in my childhood that pee jokes in movies made me feel a certain way. I quickly learned that touching myself made me feel good, so I'd do it every night before bed. Not much thought about it, I just did it.
When I became a teenager and much deeper into Evangelical Christianity I realized what I was doing was masturbation. I felt guilty and started to see my normal sexual urges as something sinful I needed to fix about myself. A horrible thing I needed to heal from. It was hard to quit and I often found myself giving in and "relapsing." My guilt started to grow and I felt horrible for feeling so good. I felt gross for what I was into.
I never interacted with the users, but I read alot of omorashi fiction on DeviantArt as a teen. So I understood there were others like me. But because I felt so much shame I felt like I was part of this evil community of perverts that were poisoning my mind and soul. It felt so alone about it.
I became an adult, I deconverted from Christianity and I started to sexually explore myself again. It was difficult to embrace what I loved because I could still feel that leftover guilt telling me I'm a horrible perverted person. Opening up about my interest in pee felt like I was revealing some fucked up secret about myself. Even if I knew that was probably not true. After visiting enough omo blogs I made this account to post omo fanart for WWDITS. Which is why my url is that.
I continued to develop a healthier relationship with masturbation, it's still something I'm working on with my body dysphoria. I saw regular omo posts but then I found posts that contained other people sharing their kink discovery with piss. And I read so many other people doing similar things I did as a teen. I realized so many people shared my experiences. I felt less alone and felt this healing relief that hundreds of people were having a similar experience at the same time as me. I started to feel normal. I started to see positivity posts about it. The statement that all angels have piss kinks. That religious romanticization of the kink, it heals me. The sentence meant so much to me, more than anyone could understand. I got less guilt making art for my kink. And I'm so happy to share that after years of healing, I am 100% guilt free now.
