Seriously, no one else is going to say it? Itās been a good while since this movie was released, Hacksaw Ridge was a well made movie about a well-meaning religiously ignorant man. Let me explain, the movie is about a Seven-day Adventist who wants to fight in World War Two but he doesnāt want kill anyone because the Ten Commandments in the King James Bible says āthou shall not Killā and the main character took that mistranslation to practice, of course in context the correct wording is āthou shall not murderā David kill Goliath, David did not murder Goliath. I only watch this movie once I found frustrating, I felt like the old man yelling at the TV screen hoping that someone with some biblical knowledge can explain to the main character what that Bible verse means.
