KING ISLAND FARM TOURS, MEET YOUR BEEF: Double cooked King Island beef in Tasmanian stout with Duchess potatoes and gremolata. We had an excellent farm tour and learned so much about cattle and their life cycle. Our host Ana was such a delight. This is a must do for your list when going to King Island. The meal was sooooooo good. This dish was perfection and a credit to Ana. Massive amount of flavour and a generous serve. KING ISLAND HOTEL: Photo 1, Roast of the day (turkey) $25 included a glass of house wine. Photo 2, Crispy Fried Squid $25 Yummmm. Both really great pub meals and both very generous serves. KING ISLAND DAIRY: Baked Brie with walnuts, honey and thyme $14 Wow! This dish is absolutely sublime. Melted Brie is ridiculously good.
