if i wanted to read homestuck, where would i go? and where would i start?
You would go to MSPaintAdventures.com and start from the beginning, of course!
Don’t. Skip. Anything! A lot of people want to skip straight to Act 5 to get to the trolls. Don’t do that :’3 And don’t skip the Intermissions like I did either. Because that’s bad too!
This is how I personally recommend going about reading Homestuck:
Open up two browser windows. In one window, have MSPA.com up. In the other window, go to CoLab HQ’s Let’s Read Homestuck, and read along with the videos. Having talented voice actors read everything to you is the easiest way to get through the sometimes very long pesterlogs and drawn out shenanigans. CoLab HQ has videos all the way up through Act 6, so they will keep you going for a while. I like to Save Game at the end of each video, just so I don’t lose my place and it’s easy to start up again.
Also, if you are truly dedicated to this madness, I really recommend reading Problem Sleuth first, which is another MSPaint Adventure. I’ll be honest with you, it is an utterly exhausting read. However if you read Homestuck after reading Problem Sleuth you will A.) Get a lot more of the jokes in Homestuck and B.) Homestuck seems a LOT LESS COMPLICATED by comparison.
