This episode delivered some bloody revenge indeed as King Aella got demolished under the giant heel of the Vikings' historic invasion. Β They caused the bloody eagle to be carved on the back of Aella, and they cut away all of the ribs from the spine, and then they ripped out his lungs. Β Β

Alfred quoted King Aelle almost verbatim several times in this past season & said things that perfectly fit his grandfather's approach & acts. Video & picture edits on parallels coming from next week onwards - beware of spoilers if you haven't watched it yet!
