#like... i truly don't even know what to say#it's hard to even put into words the way this man means so much to me#this man is the reason why i have a best friend#he's the reason why her and i met#this man united us we suffered watching Denmark together..#we thrived watching Denmark together too...#we cried sad and happy tears together over this man...#i met her here.. because of him... because of posting about him..#the obsession i got for him brought me one of the people i love most dearly to this day...#he started my entire journey with learning Danish and that changed everything for me#it's only been so little since i even knew about him.. and i feel like there was a lifetime of watching him#the edits.. the gifs.. the posting.. the clown comments.. everything#i don't know this man and yet he means *so* much to me#he's such a crucial part of my life in a way he'll never even know or understand#i knew he'd retire because the age was getting there..#and then he got hurt.. and i knew he'd retire because of it..#yet it still feels surreal that he *actually* retired#you know Herrelandsholdet said it best: tak for alt; Kasper#tak for alt Kaspy... jeg vil savne dig 🥺😔#Kasper Schmeichel#king thicccness#danish captain america#big daddy 🥺#i hope he gets a job where i can see him#i'm not ready for him to disappear yet 😭#please don't go Big Daddy...
