ORIGINAL FUNIMATION DUB + EARLY VIDEO GAMES (>2001)
- chris sabat piccolo but older. awesome. i think it fits him perfectly well. aside from various issues with the early dub (strange line reads and sometimes the lines themselves, screams in the background extending for an absurd amount of time compared to the original, stuff like that) the voice itself is good 10/10 no notes
- god bless whoever wrote some of the fuck ass dialogue in bt3 and gave us the gift of KING PICCOLO TIME
REVENGE OF KING PICCOLO FOR NINTENDO WII (2009)
- i think (I Think) this is the first time he has a different tone of voice after getting eternal youth. i dont know if he shows up anywhere in between bt3 and here. but anyway
- this is the point where he's just kinda current-day piccolo but with slightly more grandiose line reads. a little more hammy about it. which is fine! although i personally think the first iteration fits him better
- the first line he says after his wish gets granted sounds a little too vegeta for my liking
- he looks like a fucking crusty freak in this game with his overly detailed spiky teeth its really good. and the cel shading makes his arms either pink or yellow for light and dark. really fun design choice
- the way he is animated in his first bossfight flays me alive look at this. grantpa on his way to grab a can of paint for breakfast

- jr has this slightly more growly take on his voice that i enjoy. i do like the idea that he (and by extension daimao) is just putting on a scary voice for the bit, and current piccolo is his "real" voice
