It was the Th'lin Prince's first time experiencing the Queens' Feasts. In Th'li, winter was a quiet, somber time which only focused on the darkness outside. This holiday was much different than they were used to in any capacity. Already, they had noticed a tightness in their clothing, even though they felt they weren't really overindulging in the sweet breads and cakes that were readily available. L'thev looked at themself in their mirror, gently touching their plump rear and hips, and softened lower belly after bathing.  Even the base of their tail felt fuller.

-- Ezeli's softened hands were already stained red-purple as he pulled up the edge of his pants for Wa'sme and another handmaiden to dip his feet into the stain. He could already feel the ceremonial clothing tighten in places. Meals were definitely running together, bridged by "snacks" and bah-zela, the heavy cream drinks made with royal honey. Despite not fighting his growing appetite much anymore, Ezeli found that he was falling behind when it came to the one of other Kings who had come after L'thev. Qeda, the Ebbesan King, was wider in every direction, steadily surpassing Ezeli.

There was a knock at his bedroom door and the other handmaiden opened it, allowing L'thev entrance.

"My, you look rather handsome in those maroon robes, sansaadi." He hummed. L'thev flushed, walking around while looking at Ezeli's feet being stained. "You'll go next." He rested his hand on L'thev's back before his ears lifted some, stroking the thicker base of L'thev's tail. "Two days into the Queens' Feasts and you're plumping up like a g'deli pup." Ezeli's hand moved lower and L'thev blushed deeper. "Much softer here..."

"I-I...have a hard time saying no to the cakes, I guess." L'thev murmured. Ezeli's ears went up and the Unbrin grinned, crimson eyes glinting.

"Oh?" He hummed, stained hand slipping up and grasping gently at L'thev's soft lower belly. "And why would you be saying no, sansaadi? It's the Queens' Feasts. We have dark, cold days ahead of us." He kissed L'thev's forehead.  "You've had bah-zela right?"

"No? What is that?" L'thev replied. Ezeli looked to the other handmaiden and she nodded. "I-I don't want to spoil dinner." 

"Spoil dinner, L'thev...have dessert first." Moments later, she returned with pale green cream in a glass. L'thev took it with both hands. "It's only made during this season, sansaadi. Growing up in Unbri, my sisters and I only got one glass each on the last day of the Queens' Feasts." Ezeli explained. This year however, he was making up for that, nearly capping off each meal and snack with a glass. He was sure his Slangnul was swimming in it. L'thev brought the glass to their lips, taking a hesitant sip. Ezeli smiled as L'thev flushed, quickly raising the glass up to take longer sips. Ezeli's hand spread against bit of plushness of the Th'lin's waist. 

"It's...it's very rich." L'thev said, finishing the glass before handing it to the handmaiden. "I like it." L'thev said with their stoic tone. Ezeli grinned, now feeling like the bad influence and reveling in it.

After L'thev's hands and feet had been stained and decorated, they were taken to the vast dining hall through the doors on the leftmost wall. The room covered in golden mirrors, lit by candles and a fireplace. It smelled warm and sweet, above the other scents of food and drink. Every king, except for the massively immobile Y'sitrah and Chiyo, and nearly completely immobilized Vevil, were there. Even Devir was there, surprising the Th'lin prince.  The sheer amount of food and drink coming in was almost unbelievable but nothing was going to waste; barely a drop of liquid sat at ths bottom of emptied pitchers, bones of ground hens and giant senvi fish had been picked clean. Red-purple stained hands pulled at meat and breads, and those growing too full to stuff themselves were helped by the handmaidens. The room was filled with noises of hedonistic gluttony, brought on not by the thralls caused by the Slangnul but simply the spirit of the season.
